The elephant in the room is that her look and image is one of her biggest problems. The 90's style she has makes her look like one of those women on Bebe's Kids or Baby D on Friday. Listened to her new album this morning during my commute, sounds like I’m in the minority, but i liked it

She’s not doing much of the singy stuff anymore, which worked on her first album but got worn after that

She REALLY didn't like her experience being signed to YG and dogged every aspect of it saying she hated it there and she never wanted to sign there from the jump.

She also says the industry turned her bi-sexual, even tho she prefers dudes.

To be honest, I don't know how a label could market her as a sort of 90's Shenene & Keylolo type hoodrat. I'm a huge Bay fan, but the fact is that music has a low ceiling nationwide. Nearly all of this new project sounds the same.

I think she's about 7 years too late and missed the time when the Mustard Bay sound was in. That and the fact that "stripper thot rap" is what's in for female rappers. Labels and fans prefer a artist like Saweetie from the Bay over Kamaiyah. Sickamore was prolly best A&R for her and she left
