Answer my earlier question that you still haven't answered head on. Since no black folks in XYZ time period is a bullshyt excuse, does the representation of African slaves and slavers in this next game satisfactory in rectifying that in this instance with KC2?

First off, you are reading the information wrong.

His talks of “historically accurate spoilers” was about gay shyt. Has nothing to do with black folks who presumably are still not in the game.

To me it seems he’s saying the gay folks will be treated poorly for “historical accuracy” but that’s also a bullshyt reason to put gay folks in your game just to abuse them.

Now for your hypothetical question.

My answer is no.

Black slaves in a game like this would not satisfy me because black people were more than slaves at the time. So if a director included black people just to have some slaves in their game, that’s almost worse than not including black folks at all.

I’m not saying black folks need to be kings or leaders(although there were some of them in ancient europe) but just normal people trading or going about life. They existed and there’s no reason to exclude them other than your own racist view of the world.

So, no, i would not be satisfied with black slaves in a game like this without other representation to go along with it.

That led to the game being held up by more reactionary elements of gaming fandom as not "woke," which resulted in some rumbling in 2024 when Warhorse said players "can expect a wide range of ethnicities and different characters" in the sequel

Remember, the lead dev said the main character will be heading to a new location in Bohemia that's a trade hub. We just found out that Africans were trading goods there historically. Those goods just so happened to also include slaves. I also clearly stated African merchants who were also slavers aside from the slaves themselves, so I wouldn't be quick to point out to somebody else about reading things incorrectly. You seem to have missed reading that quote I just put up entirely.

Dude went on rants about being anti-woke with regard to diversity before, and released a game that purposely excluded dark skin.

That’s the only reality i have to react to at this point.
