They are doing exactly what EA used to do, and just doing minor changes when the engine should have been updated by now. At it's core, that is the same engine from the Xbox/PS2 days.

I'm not expecting huge changes to the engine but things like Manu driving to the hoop with no contact should be fixed by the time the betas out at least.

I don't get this new 2K hate people are showing (no calling out anyone) I guess when you finally get on top it's expected. Thing is people act like 2k12 was some glitch fest nba jam remake. It's a pretty balanced bball sim with issues like any other game. I'd like to see what Live has cooking because competition is always good but I've been trusting 2K since the Dreamcast days and they've really only put out one bad game.

It's not "hate" to want to see the engine finally updated, there's only so many times you can add small changes to a game before people grow tired of it. I've been playing 2k since Dreamcast as well, and they used to make huge strides yearly, now since 2k10 it's essentially been the same game.
