I'm no Beyonce stan but Letoya never had a chance. Really, only Alicia, Rihanna and to a smaller extent, Ashanti had success during Beys solo reign and Rihanna doesn't really count because she went full blown pop and didn't straddle the R&B/Pop fence line Bey did/does.

I think the personally the only that came close to Beyonce was Amerie at least sound wise. It's unfortunate that Amerie's producer stole her tracks and gave it to Beyonce. Of course, also having Beyonce's father as your manager will probably hurt too

There was a season,if even for a moment that Beyonce and her team felt Letoya Luckett coming for her spot. Maybe not on the same level as Alicia Keys and rhianna were a threat. But it was more scary because of the fact that they kicked her out the group.



As for Michelle,sadly paperwork is being drawn up as we speak along with an NDA. If there is ever a DC reunion she wont be in the group. Beyonce wont perform next to someone whos admitted they are irrelevent. But great commercial,better than 90% of those 10 million dollar superbowl ads
