There are dozens of people who can wrestle, talk, and draw heat. The problem with Jarrett is Perception = Reality. He was a mid-carder in the WWF and as soon as he went to WCW, they threw him at the top of the card because his BFF Russo was there. The fans didn't buy it because of the legit Main Eventers they had at the time.

If WCW had built him up steadily into a ME spot, I don't think it would have been as big a catastrophe as what wound up happening.

And honestly I have no problem with that. I'm a Ziggler stan. But it's hypocritical to say Jarrett was never a main event calibre wrestler but advocate for a Ziggler title run.

Let's be for real. If guys like Bryan, Ziggler, and Punk were around during the attitude era they'd be perceived as midcard for life. Just how you all view Jarrett.
