Yeah, I had a regular and the one that lit up. It took batteries, made it heavier. Knew how to walk the dog, cat's cradle but couldn't pull it back up after the cradle. I mean I could but the string got tangled.

I've been going down the rabbit hole, and this explains the boom in polarity with YoYos in the 90s.

There were a few ball bearing yoyos before this, but this is the first time someone manufactured and sold it as a product successfully.
