There are a lot of profitable women’s only gyms that have beeb around for the long term, there’s one here in Oakland, and one of the biggest fitness franchise crazes was Curves, an all women franchise of gyms (tho crashed and burned after fitness trends changed)

Gym's, fitness centers, etc. are notoriously difficult business models and most struggle or flat out fail (Town Sports, Golds, 24-Hour).

So I limiting your business to only 50% of population would make an already difficult business model even more insurmountable .

ok, you can disagree, but women's only gyms aren't uncommon. no, they're not as numerous as your typical big box, nor are they as big, but every major metro has a handful. curves thrived as a franchise for years until fitness trends changed and people stopped promoting lightweight circuit workouts
