and it showed how jay got his "image" by watchin old gangster movies and tryin to take the traits of the boss's in the movies by being calm and cool etc...

its out there somwhere.. pretty much PROVES that jay entire career is ross-esqe

What OP is saying is that Ross doesn't cater his music to white ppl, that doesn't mean white ppl dont buy his music.

or Dr. Dre and I need a Doctor

All abandoned their CORE fanbase chasing them pop dollars.

I think this might actually be true though. I never really see white people bumping Ross like they do Wayne, Jeezy, Kanye etc. And a lot of "real hiphop heads" hate him. We don't have any stats obviously, but I'd be willing to bet his audience is overwhelmingly black.
