KObe and C-webb have both been players that simply channel the overall scoring for their team. Let's say a team gets 70 shots per game, Kobe and Cwebb would simply get their shots, get their scoring average, and not necessarily impact the game beyond that fact.

To be fair, only in the last 3-4 years has Kobe been as bad a defender as C-Webb.

The real impact players don't simply channel a certain percentage of their teams overall shots. They either increase the number of shots through defense and rebounding, or they increase the efficiency of the team by fueling the overall team offense.

Kobe still has the advantage of being credited for all his team's success, while his teammates and coaches are blamed for his failures. But the fact is, except for 2008 and 2009, he has never played as effectively as :lolbron:.

Funny coincidence: From 2000 to 2003, look at the Kings w-l without Webber. Look at the Lakers w-l without Kobe.
