The only drawback, to my understanding, is that the focal length prevents you from focusing on planets within our solar system?

It’s pretty nice for a starter unit without spending 5 figures on an actual telescope setup.

Planetary stuff is gonna be a reach for it, can’t focus that far. So far I grabbed moon and sun shots, skies haven’t been that clear at night to get stars. Plus it’s been cold here.
