I was on a dapping spree just for posting in the thread but this post hereWhole Foods was selling 6 dollar jars of water with asparagus in it., All those clothing companies that charge 500 bucks for a pair of pants, Ugly ass Balenciaga shoes for 700 bucks and we complaining about a nikka selling rice.

Master Ps image is that of a novelty.
People associate image with branding.
So a lot of people look at Ps products as a novelty, piggie backing off what's currently In demand or flavor of the month.
From biting in his music to hopping on the fashion bandwagon to selling food products and hand sanitizer in a cheesy attempt to capitalize on consumer demand.
So what I think the person is trying to say is he would reach a further demographic if he didn't us his image to market for branding.
And for that reason ialone s why people won't buy the product
It's like he treats each endeavour like a indie record in house, compared to actually hiriing a. firm for pr and distribution.
P wants you to buy it because it's a master p product and it's black owned, not that he has a better product to offer at a discount.

Not really. Emril is an Italian chef with his own brand of Pasta Sauce. Makes sense.
I don't even known who the fukk Paul Newman is, so I can't attach his brand to anything else outside of salad dressing.

I have yet to go to any Walmart that didn't have those pies falling off the table because there was too many in stock
. As for Master P I can't find his rap noodles anywhere, but if I find them I'm definitely going to try it out. We can't sit here and complain about representation and then actively look for reasons to not support black owned stuff. People in here complaining about presentation mattering, yet if Popeyes or Chick Fil A made a commercial where it was just a new sandwich sitting on a dirty countertop ya'll would still want to go try it.
