high blood pressure in a cupI’ll say it again, pancakes are a yearly treat or so. Its not about the pancakes specifically, where are the black marketplaces with fresh foodstuffs? I be the cat eating salmon and kale for breakfast, so it be tough to support black brands for stuff I dont even eat from the white owned brands. Not to mention the myriad of health issues the community has. The white rice says “Louisiana seasoned.” Seasoned white rice?
It’s hard to mess up rice. So I’ll try that easy. But pancakes I don’t take chances with those at all. So it was Auntie or Mr Butterworth for me. But I researched Krustez (or whatever) and found that mix pretty good too.
Pro tip (y’all may do this already)
With just add water pancakes substitute the water with your favorite type milk. I use buttermilk and your pancakes will be 1000% better and fluffier

If you lived in Houston we have plenty black owned farmers markets .You could always find a black meal prep restaurant.I do understand people not from major cities having problems buying black.
