Purdy's biggest asset is that he makes less than $1 million a year and only cost a 7th-round pick. There is absolutely zero reason for them to start looking for another quarterback until he has to get paid. If you have a cheap QB who can do his job, then you ride that out as long as you can. This is a league where Joe Flacco, Nick Foles, Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer, etc. are Super Bowl winning QBs.
