Why is that? You ever wonder?
True story, my uncle, I used to be scared of him when growing up. He rolled different, got shyt done, backed shyt up and did what he said he was gonna do. He eventually got old, I got bigger than him etc,, it didn't matter but I would never and won't come out pocket with him even tho in his 70s. Know why, cuz I got that respect and never lost it because he was consistently that nikka his whole life.
Over time nikkas gave changed, allowing other entities and circumstances to change us as a people. nikkas is so bytch made now you can slap they momma and spit in they babies faces with no repercussions. It's evident in society where you can be killed on camera by police and the cop gets off. The solution is simple but courage, respect and bravery have been slowly titrated from who we originally were
I think for multiple reasons.
1. People look down on minimum wage jobs and poor people. They are easy targets.
They see them as lazy. They think the world is equal and you are in a low paying job or are broke because you are lazy and don't want a better job. Because the same people will try to belittle the fast food worker for a messed up order. Will try to show off for the workers at the Gucci or Louie Vuitton store. Those people also have an issue with being embarrassed by or in front of the burger flipper/cashier. And as someone whose been a cashier before those same people who talk down to you those same people sing a different tune when they need your help or their card declines. Its hilarious to see. A couple times I've seen someone yelling at or being aggressive with a cashier, then their card declines and the person suddenly wants to be nice.
I remember a women yelling at a coworker of mine because they thought they were the next in line. Talking down about the store, yall customer service is bad blah blah causing a scene. She got checked out, left. Then the woman comes back with a whole new attitude, soft voice, no yelling looking for her phone and wanted us to help find it.
Of course, we half-assed looked, got her name and number and said if we find it we'll call her. A customer found it after she left the store. But I know I personally didnt call. I don't think anyone else did either.
2. People look down on black people in general no matter what the status in life is.
3. All races black and non-black know that if they mistreat a black person they won't get as much backlash than if they mistreated a white person. They again are easy targets.
4. The people who treat service workers as if they are beneath them 100% of the time they don't have their life together and mistreat cashiers to make themselves feel better.
