well put together trailers. definitely looks like some eye opening ish, but i already feel bad for them kids just looking at the 3 minute trailer.
it's bugged out at the part when the lady asks what are the kids supposed to do because the rec centers are all getting closed down, as if a rec center absolves one of parenting so the kids can run around for hours until they burn themselves out. you mean to tell me that these kids have exhausted all of their recreational options and the rec center is their last hope to get it in? fukk that and fukk these "parents"
today I went to see my niece and asked her to give me an oral report on what she learned about Nelson Mandela based on a newspaper pullout that was in the sunday paper. She's 10 and I had her read the whole shyt because she thought Mandela was a fukking scientist.
then after she told me about what she read, I had her read a long ass article in the NY Times about a little girl in a homeless shelter and told her to write me a 2 page paper on what she read.
fukk a rec center when you got plenty to read up on since these schools dont even teach current events about a world wide figure like Mandela
