Used his own wife to talk down about him, then had him beat up by Becky.

But he finally got on Raw....yay?

The Kanellis' segment & match sounded like it had Russo's fingerprints on it.

Mike Kanellis was absolutely buried by his real-life wife Maria on Raw this week. This was a very interesting creative decision, but it was one of many on the show this week to get fans talking.

Maria Kanellis said that she’s pregnant on Raw this week. Apparently, she really is with child even though she stood on the apron during a tag team match on the show this week.

Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio how this was probably the most WWE has ever paid talents when they are guaranteed not to make their money back on them. Because Maria emasculated Mike in such a huge way.

Not only did she call him her “bytch” before they went out, but after she revealed her pregnancy she doubted that Mike was enough of a man to even do it.

Dave Meltzer noted that Mike and Maria Kanellis are making $500,000 a year for five years. That is very likely half a million each. Therefore, they’re not going anywhere. This was right after Meltzer admitted that Mike Kanellis was buried so badly that it was the kind of treatment WWE would have given him if he was quitting the company and slated to show up on the opposition’s television product next week.

We’ll have to wait and see how things pan out with Mike and Maria Kanellis. No matter what they end up doing from this point on at least you know they’re getting paid very well for the next half a decade.

C’mon now y’all, don’t get worked :russ:

Man, look... I ain't sayin' the Kanellis shyt is definitely leading to something... but I ain't about to go off NOTHIN' Dave speculates about... cause yeah, it can be looked at as "emasculation" or whatever sensitive males be gettin' upset about... OR... it could be the beginning of a character change for two MFs they just paid a nice chunk of change and intend to actually do something with now.

We can't go "yAy hEYMaN best RAW INNA decaDE THIS IS WHAT WE WANT COMPELLING TELEVISION!!!!!11" one minute and then say "WWE IZ EMASALATIN MIKE BENNETT!" the next. I'll give it some weeks to play out first.

I do think there is an actual payoff to Bennett, since Heyman is behind it. Saw an old tweet from Paul when the two debuted. Seems to think highly of them. With the re-up, gives him more of an excuse to do something with them. We shall see.

I thought Heyman and Bischoff weren't taking over yet? It must suck if someone else booked a better show that got better ratings and now they'll never get credit for it. :laff:

So they called up Ricochet/Black as they were on track to win the NXT tag titles, then they called up War Raiders as NXT Champions, had them vacate the titles, and now called up the Street Profits, who won those vacant titles? :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:
