I don't know man, X has a pretty huge presence on social media. He has celebrities with millions of followers tweeting about his death. Being at the zenith of your career in the 90s pales in comparison to the eyes that are on you in modern times with social media. I think they're about to prop X up to be MUCH bigger in death

No.

1.Social media gives you more eyes but it all gives you more voices. now the 90’s was totally different.

Take for example mike Tyson in the 90’s vs deontay wilder now.

Wilder might have friends with a million followers or have a following himself but can you honestly tell me he is anywhere near as famous as mike Tyson was? fukk no.

So we gonna say Biggie deserved to get laid out on the strip now? Cuz it's known he used to beat the shyt out of Kim and Charlie Baltimore...

Same thing with Pun. nikka was wild abusive to his wife and countless other rappers/rock stars are known abusers

Just because they had problems in their personal life doesn't take away what they gave to people through their music. Doing bad shyt or terrible shyt doesn't make you a scumbag in totality. It means you have an area in your life that you don't have the skills to cope or control your rage. This is not an excuse for people that beat on women. This is for people that don't seem to grasp the fact that humans are severely imperfect and violent and challenged but our fukked up moments aren't the sum of who we are entirely. The fact is a very young man was killed senselessly in his prime. Regardless of his faults it's really sickening to see so-called adults coming in and posting negative shyt about a dead person....a person that hasn't even been dead 12 hours.

Like how can you think you're above someone who was abusive when you defame the deceased? And not even publicly, you do it silently on a message board like a coward. If you really feel that way to make light of his death go upload a video on your Facebook or IG and let the people close to you know that you'd speak ill of a dead man. You know why you wouldn't? You're too ashamed and you wouldn't want people who you actually know that you're that fukkin' childish.

And I mean no disrespect but in a year nobody will talk about him.

Let’s look at why pac is remembered.

Dude died in his prime
Got shot 5 times and survived
Son of actual black panthers
Seen as black power militant (to some)
Seen as an ultimate gangster figure (by some)
Seen as a defender of black women or women in general
Died in Las Vegas strip
3 back to back classic albums
fukked Madonna
Trademark bandana
Friends with Tyson
Most influential rap persona imo

Etc

What I’m tryna say pacs life read like a Greek tragedy. Nobody knows this dude xxxx like that.
And all those things worked for that generation to call him a legend.

X went viral while serving time in jail, got out and surrounded himself with controversy, beefs and made music for angry teenagers.

Then, he's murdered in a car dealership with his lifeless body left on video.

And based on what I've seen of this generation, that's enough for them to consider him a legend.

This generation doesn't need everything Pac did in order for them to put X in that category.

Why? Because they put Drake in that category now and I feel the same way.

Neither of them have done shyt to be mentioned next to Pac.

But that doesn't change the fact that I have had conversations with people younger than me who put Drake and Pac in the same category.

And what I'm saying is, it's going to happen to X.
