I don’t blame you. There’s an argument to be made that there’s some good that comes out of it too, which is why I say for better and for worse. Social media has forced a lot of people to be accountable for their actions, even if it doesn’t always result in true change (like in situations involving police brutality). The existence of evidence makes it impossible to claim certain things never happened.

I just think one of the unfortunate side effects is an overall detachment when it comes to seeing things that used to shock/horrify us.
