Not gonna lie, the handheld mode is pretty ugly :pachaha:

XC games have never been about graphics though. Combat is fun as fukk as expected

No doubt. This is the first switch game I'm trying to play mainly in docked mode, because it looks that much better.

I have one rare core crystal. I haven't opened it, yet.

Here are my current 2 blades. I'm trying to set a blade in the third slot, but can't.

I want a blade with a lightning and water element.

Nia is cool. she always runs for the healing potions. in the boss fight she ran for one and got hit before she could get it and flew back with the rest of us.

I want to learn every inch of the combat in this game, because I did some strong combo a while ago, and I'm not even sure how it happened. And there's some sealing technique as well.

So is this nothing like X?

Never got to play cause I don't have a Wii U, and I thought this was similar but no?

X is a lot more out the gate than this. exploration was key, in X, like the story was still strong, but exploring the world was a huge focus in it.

Just got off work, contemplative stopping by Target and copping.

Never played a Xenoblade game before.

I like JRPGs... but Tales games engage me more than Final Fantasy titles these days.

Is this story heavy? How is the gameplay?

Only got to play about an hour and a half today but I like what I played so far.

I think the voice acting is actually pretty good for people being so down on it, but you can tell lines are a bit stilted cause they're trying to match the JP lip synch.

if you're a fan of the Xenoblade series, I'm sure you'll like this game. If you care about the visuals, only play docked.

There's a lot to take in, may have to google a thing or 2 for reminder.
I finally got my Nyko portable dock in the mail so I'm playing my Switch in the dock for the second time ever. I tried Zelda in docked mode once and heard the docks were scratching the screen and never played it docked again until now. I like this Nyko dock way better than the Nintendo one anyway.
