Xbox SmartGlass App is Out for Android

C'mon brehs, side loading a damn app on Android is easy.

-Download it from the link
-Find it in whatever file manager app you use (it's probably going to be in the download or downloads file)
-If you haven't selected the option to install apps which aren't from the market it will prompt you to
-Select yes when you're asked if you want to allow apps that aren't from the market

That's all you have to do.

It will take you to the web page for the app in the Android store. You sign into your Google account and it will let you remotely install the app from there.

And it didn't show up in the Market for my phone either...

Try the link I posted to get it. It didn't show up when I looked for it in the Market on my phone.

Also even if the link doesn't work, I'm sure people will be able to side load it anyway. GSDG finds a way like that

Just loaded on my HP TouchPad.

And yal can't get it on devices which run Android natively.





If you use the mediafire link, after it downloads, change the name of the file extension in your file manager from .zip to .apk... you don't need to unzip/extract it.

EDIT: it doesn't work on the TouchPad, spoke too soon.

what happened to going to the app store on ya device, clicking the app and downloading it.....

Nothing happened to that. The thousands of other apps that allow you to do that say so.
