It’s not for everybody. If you play one or two games a year, Game Pass probably isn’t the right business model for you, you should just buy those two games, and that would make total sense. But I want you to have the choice.

Thoughts? I know this topic has been beaten like a dead horse but it's funny that the man himself is saying GP isn't the end all be all for gaming.

Unlike some tunnel visioned shills on here, not everyone is completely enthralled by paying monthly for access to games of which they may not even have time to play the majority of them and end up only playing a handful of games per year anyway of which they're not games on GP.

I actually think a lot of Game Pass evangelists are very entitled gamers word to @winb83 .

On Microsoft side, gamepass can only work if you can gain a large subscriber base and get them hooked. Their problem is they're xbox and do not have the install base of Playstation or Nintendo. Gamepass could possibly work if they had Playstation install base + a good PC app. Right now, Microsoft hit the worst part of subscription model which is plateauing and they plateued at an awful number. So they're pivoting towards revenue.

Yea I tend to buy a few games a year and baby sit them due to time constraints. Will even revisit some depending on DLC and enjoyability.

I’m playing through kakarot dlc rn just cuz I’m in a dbz mood. I beat that game years ago.

Once they realize they aren't making money the price hikes will come and they'll start delaying AAA releases.
