Xbox 720 will have dual APU

The most important one of all that you all seem oblivious to... ACTUAL GAMES.

Y'all so worried about extra features that you know is going to be there meanwhile neglecting the importance of actual commendable titles. Sony could literally make a sequel to every PS3/PS2 exclusive franchise and we'd be for days since it's a vast library. Myriad franchises were made since Sony's inception and M$ is on their third console and it's still Halo, Gears(which is dying) and a copycat of a the premier racing game.

Sony hasn't talked about games though. Just social features and the PSkinect. You 3cepts keep holding on to this "exclusives" argument cause that's all you have. In realty most of the Sony developed "exclusives" were forgettable and not really worthy of sequels. And how can you dis Microsoft making a bunch of sequels while begging for more Sony sequels.

Microsoft has at least 3 new IP's in the works. What does Sony have?

Im going to make this as simple as I can. gddr5 is a graphics memory which is based on DDR3. But it trades latency for higher bandwidth which is great for graphics duty but sucks for everything else due to its high latency. On the other hand DDR3 and soon DDR4 is a better all around ram because its has fairly low latency. Actually DDR4 has bandwidth closer to gdd5 but keeps its low latency.

Now concerning the PS4 its great that it has a large pool of gddr5 which is great for graphics but it will hurt it in other areas such logic, A.I. functions, pagefile etc. Actually the the 8 GB of gddr5 is overkill. The system will never use all the ram on games.

Now I don't know enough about the Next Xbox to break it down fully but in all intents and purposes it will be fairly equal to the PS4. So just get the system that has the best games for you!

What Sony is doing with their architecture has never been done before so basically, you can list some cons of gddr5 but you really dont know wtf you're talking about because you have no idea how it works with the architecture and people who design this system aka people who are ten times smarter than you dream of being, are not going to have some minor issue like latency effect them. Latency will not be an issue and PS4 will perform better. Just sit down and eat this slice of humble pie and marvel at that PS4 greatness. 30 minutes isnt long to wait for greatness. With that ps4 though, you can begin gaming, while the game installs. Incredible. I dont even think xbox allows games to be run from the optical disk, because they're doing what SOny Did THIS gen which is finally get a blu ray drive.

Nope sales don't indicate quality, but they do indicate how many gamers think the games are quality.

Multiple games were showcased such as Killzone, Infamous Second Son, Driveclub, Knack, and that was just a teaser for what the future holds. It has been said that all of Sony's in house devs are developing for the PS4 and you'd have to conveniently ignore the fact that NaughtyGod are making something. It's over man. It's over.

Driveclub isn't exclusive and knack sucked. The actual games were the weakest and least emphasized portion of the reveal and promotion that has come out since then.

Unusable? When did I say unusable.. I was saying that if they are dedicated both apu to the games, it would be a system bottleneck becauseI of the weak ass rams they got.. It would makes it complex due to the fact that they would have to find ways to utilize both apu while managing the ram. Then I stated that instead, they will dedicate one apu to kinect and for os. But it will be locked. Similar to apple laptops. But with 2 apu, it will push up the cost above ps4 but it will still be weaker. Basically, due to microsoft thinking that one apu would not be enough to manage games, and and kinect at the same time, they up the cost just for kinect..by putting another apu in....
