I've never actually watched UUDD but I watched the Rumble vid and it's pretty interesting how they talk about themselves and their generation as the "fan era" and how not only would none of the guys they get dressed up for as photoshoots have done the same thing for guys 20 years before them, but also no one is going to give a shyt about anyone from their generation 20 years from now and WWE will still be selling Austin 3:16 and NWO shirts and bringing out guys from the 80s and 90s 20 years from now instead of the current crew.

Also lmao at the Cena/Batista section of the Rumble being 3 times as long as the rest of the Rumble and Woods having a massive hangover the entire show

Fixed that one for you.

You could write a 10,000 word essay on the implications of that little convo Breeze and Woods had.

I think part of the reason AJ resigned is because he wants to end his career in good graces with the E so he can be considered for legend contracts and other shyt. I definitely think he will be one of the guys fans will still resonate with in 10-20 years. Lots of fans now are appreciating the more athletic performers, rather than just being larger than life like the old school.

If you ever watch any shoots from the OG greats, they always say they got into wrestling because of the greats before them, and they were huge marks. I think nowadays it's just more transparent because of social media and such. They are making statements that should be reserved for shoot interviews later on in their career, not statements that actually help build their own character.

You can even say this youtube channel is a "marks are in the ring" thing, and makes wrestlers come off as video game geeks... But the young fans today actually find that a cool thing, it's a very interesting contrast to compare generations of not only wrestlers, but their fans.
