Like I don’t know how the usual Stan’s can defend this. I get why they ignore it, but when face to face with it, they spin and defend it.
Whether you are a hourly or salary employee and ESPECIALLY if you are an “independent contractor”
Your company should never have this much control or ownership of ventures you have on your own personal time that they ain’t putting no effort or resources in
Like he created that brand and when you think “UpUpDownDown” nothing about it says WWE
Dude, this is America.
You literally have poor Americans arguing AGAINST tax hikes on the wealthy, a $15 minimum wage, universal health care, college, etc. . .
We're the most propgandized population in the world.
North Korea has nothing on the capitalists.
So, corporate stans are basically the equivalents of "Uncle Toms" who identify with slavemasters than themselves
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the biggest marks in the wrestling industry have always been the wrestlers themselves. This isn't something that has all of a sudden become a thing over the past couple years.
Nah, most of the guys back in the day were ex-athletes who just looked at wrasslin as a hustle.
Now, you have guys who've grown up their whole lives wanting to be like The Rock, Austin, Hogan, etc. . .
They all had the toys and the video games, etc. . .
Guys like Kevin Nash & Scott Hall or the Ultimate Warrior were about that money, G.
Then you let them.
Not everything is about squeezing every cent from the company. That's the thing with this Nick Khan shyt....all these releases and slave deals ignore the human aspect. At some point you have to give a little back to the employees for morale. Better morale means better performance at their job, and also means less talent will jump ship. And the youtube/twitch situation is just gonna stifle potential creativity. There's no incentive for talent to do interesting stuff online if they don't benefit from it.
Nick Khan has completely imbedded souless corporate culture into WWE. It was already going in that direction but Khan has taken it to another level. This is just pure uncut late stage capitalism. And that just isn't conducive to a creative environment.
first of all, take "wrestling journalism" with a grain of salt. Dude "reporting" this shyt already had to make a correction.
second of all, i see yall skipped over my comment about Zelina Vega. Yall learned nothing about caping for these carnies when it comes to their dealings with WWE. She came right back to WWE like it was nothing after yall sat up here getting yourselves riled up defending her goofy ass over some video games.
Dude, whether Zelina folded or not, if you believe in worker empowerment and labor rights, you should always be pro-worker.
It doesn't matter if they're "carnies" or they work at Amazon.
