In retrospect, Fox created some of the best comic book films (Logan, Deadpool) and some of the worst (Fan4stic, X-Men Origins.) They were all over the place.

I can’t time stamp but this credible Comic Stan had this say at 1:40 and hit this movie and Fox with that ether

You can’t look at the XMen as a whole in the Fox Universe and say “it’s great, they just missed it a couple of times.”

No, it’s BAD, they just got it right a couple times. That’s all it is and that’s all it ever was

We haven't heard much from Miles Teller either. The only film that I remember seeing him in (post Fan4stic) was that War Dogs movie with Jonah Hill. Shame too because he was great in Whiplash.

Honestly, don't understand the hate. It was an average superhero movie. Not as terrible as these outlets are making it out to be.

It's all about expectations.

The Phoenix Saga story line is a GOAT level comic arc....for them to turn it into a movie where the best you can say is "it was average"....is terrible, given the expectations.

Deep down Feige is thrilled because now this only validates the vision he will have. He can REALLY toss everyone in the bushes with X-Men.
