Why are the actors so young looking

And why does wolverine have a cameo
I'm so lost

That is the part of the movie,...
That if you embrace the stupid that xmen has been since 1996.
Is actually what makes the movie cool as far as being dumb as hell.
While making sense of the train wreck that was xmen III.
To re-right the prolonged damage from one movie spanning trilogy of movies later.
So, that was the damn cool part and taking into the account how much Springer fixed.
While giving fox their natural disaster Spiderman thre meets xmen III three movie.
While sneaking in and fixing the xmen for the prospective future.
is what makes this damn movie and an intriguing excellent watch.
With this movie singer pulls his own days of future's past.
Taking us back to where we were when xmen ii,...arguably at the time and after.
the best superhero flick ever made.
till xmen III came around and crushed the Xavier mansion or buildings.
That even singer figured out how to show how the mansion got rebuilt so fast.
This pedo ass director is excellent at sequencing according to how fox wants what they perceive to be an excellent revenue grab move with a bit of critical flair.
In a medium that usually is all low quality revenue grab by design by fox.
So, real talk,...if you embrace the stoopid that has been xmen anything for twenty years.
What you get is an excellent compromise from critic filmmaker and fanbiy.

What did you think of Inferno? Just read the Asgardian Wars storyline for the first time, and I'm about to (hopefully) :eat: off of Fall of the Mutants Crossover.
I hear a lot of mixed stuff about Inferno though.

Inferno is the only good expertly done crossover and the rest are revenue grab bullshyt. Outside of what occurs in uncanny during the mutant massacre in their pages.
In what could be called the first x titles event leading to the next crossover inferno.
Everything after that is crap.
Outside of conviently giving us the red button save out of storm in xtinction agenda and even then the best moment is really just gambit pulling a shiver out of his leg and the Jim lee art and covers.
Past that, inferno is where it is at and leave the rest of that revenue grab. what if an indie low grade hack artists and writers get to invade marvel. All with their chuckie from fresh low quality nineties non cultural sellout gangsta rap lyric tone invades comic book-dom.
making it all some over priced bullshyt on the shelf, breh.

Real talk,......

Past some jim lee splashes, and how they brilliantly brought back the professor after xtinction agenda.
Xmen had taken a turn for the worst around the new xmen in 253 or so.
So, if you somehow stayed on to see jim lee in 248 and then jim pick it up in 256 for psylocke it was getting a bit cool.
Storywise, in that era.
xmen was like damn,....
xmen needs to wrap this up and reel in this low point of the movie crap for nearly two years.
from like 254 or some shyt to 271 to the relaunch in 280 and xmen one debuted.

So, real talk if not for jim lee.
even xmen was headed to the crapper.
That they unveiled a new xmen team with banshee that was written out and setup like oh we didn't really mean it when,..it got such poor reception they had to fix that bullshyt immestediately. Giving the headfake like it was all part of the plan. When they were making bullshyt, tho.
Somehow we still getting movies from this era.
when this shyt was horrifically some of the worst shyt in any x title mag ever.
shyt sucks like xcalibur going to another dimension.
That is how bad xmen has been.
Now taking into account singer has given us all the horrific bad and set it up to give us the good.
I can't even shyt on this movie.
At least someone listened and actually took three movies to set the shyt back at least close to where we were when this bullshyt was good at least.
So I can't even complain,..plus they got rid of apocalypse and depowered him so he could get an ass whooping like he supposed to anyway cause apocalypse is phoney as fukk and one of the worst suck ass villains ever made, period.
Apocalypse is one of the worst villains in comic history and just the fact we got to see them fix all the bullshyt from the other triology I can't even give it a bad rating at all.

They fixed all the bullshyt and that is all that needed to be done for this movie to be rated high.
Anyone asking more is a chuckie from fresh what if nineties bandwagon phoney after comicon was a phenomenon.

As anyone who liked xmen extremely hates apocalypse and any of that white Caucasian factor team xfactor.
Ambiguously racist in a book about equality oxymoron that the xmen became in the ninetis.
Where the villain is overpowered because of jean and Scott being made the legacy of the great white hope.
So they throw some bullshyt cryptic agenda villain bullshyt that globally dominates the pages of the comic for the future.
With the white good ole boi exploit of the summer boys till the end of time.

So, at the end of the day.
At least they restored the summer boys agenda back to when it was actually good with the phoenix saga.
, we could finally get the space odyssey and the star jammers.
In this move we get the phoenix saga tease and the havoc solo movie with scot'a other other brother looming in the future.
So, if we get that movie and a skrulls coup attempt and Vulcan or a compromise.
I am all good with that,......

As i would like to see some component of the source material kept intact to the phoenix saga.
The greatest comic story ever told should get a movie screen chance to be done right.
So, it seems I have to commend singer for fixing this franchise in three movies.
As it took three movies to fix the damage from xmen III.

Xmen apocalypse is like if they made bobby from Dallas come back.
while explaining and fixing all the shyt they did wrong in killing bobby in the first place.
Plus, all the dumb shyt that made no sense.
Since, killing Bobby took place and ruined the direction of the entire franchise.
Except instead of bobby from Dallas reappearring in the shower.
We got three movies and days of future's past used as a gimmick to entertain us.
Plus they fixed it all,......

Xmen : Apocalypse equals this.

All in the form of three movies,....
Hey at least they listened.
Them and dc listened,....at the very least you gotta honor that.

Plus, I can say the studios gave us appreciation pieces and the xmen franchise closes out like a fan appreciation piece of pictures.
As the studios at Warner and fox hve listened to save these cash cow superhero properties.

you mean days of future past right? hell the ending when wolverine wakes up and sees popular characters that were killed (in the last stand) was practically a reenactment. It got people fist pumping that xmen franchise was back. I am hearing xmen apocalypse was underwhelming

All of these movies in this trilogy had to retroact in full all the mistakes of the past trilogy and setup a new trilogy and that is what occurred in full with this movie.
If you wanted the xmen franchise repaired so it had quality good moving forward this movie fully does it for the franchise.
Only people that don't like it picked up xmen post 96 and are in love with the worst xmen content of all time in age of apocalypse and think apocalypse is a great villain to begin with.
When it was a wack villain with a cryptic entry.
That was warped into making the entire xmen series about the good ole white guys the summer brothers.
So people complaining like a horrible era of quality about xmen and are mad.
it did not live up to the crap that was the original crap that made xmen horrible to begin with.
If you are a gateway fan or a fan of the original prospects that this franchise could provide.
You get a reset back to how hopeful you were when xmen ii went off.
Plus a fully plausible setup that closes out all the plot holes from previous films from the last two trilogy of films.

Hmmmm... Did you like any runs on X-men that weren't Chris Clairmount?

Or any of the other X-books?

Cuz I stopped reading after Onslaught and didn't get back into the books unti the Messiah Complex trilogy. Then I went back and read most of what I skipped... A lot of garbage with some great runs mixed in.

Wheadon, Morrison, The 2nd Clairmount run, Kyle & Yost, Brubaker, & Kieron Gillen. All worth a read even if it doesn't have the magic of the 80's.

I am decent.
Plus, none of those runs feature any art.
that is typically indicative of what current xmen art should look like I feel.
So, I am good on ever reading any comics ever again.

Xmen and spidey used to be the mags.
were you could have possibly missed issues, before you read and went back.
after currently getting into them and still not lose a beat, or feel of what the property was solely about in general scope.
as to why you picked them up in the first place.
After jim lee left that ceased to exist and I won't even waste my time.
being curious cause they had twenty years to do it right.
When previously before that, xmen was around for twenty plus before I discovered it.
at like three years old in marvel's greatest superhero battles the graphic novel that introduced me to art, comics and even my own drawing ability.

So, that window has passed for any comic book as far as me being Part of the readership any longer.
That ship sailed a long as time ago,....

TYRONE GA!
This is as good a memorial day popcorn flick as you could ask for in any sector of gateway fandom to fanboy obsession to the mutants considering what has occurred in this franchise.

Art Barr

Yeah, because in reality it really isn't that good the more I think about it

Taking into account the source material, direction and intangibles present and judging the franchise movies upon themselves over two trilogies.
I can not give it a bad review based upon the narrative the franchise has taken.
Xmen has been a revenue grab property since inception with fox on the big screen.
So taking that into account, I can't negatively give it a poor reviews as others have.
As other have given this a review and said they were fanboys of this apocalypse bullshyt. When apocalypse always sucked and any content based around him sucks, too.

So given the aptitude for suckage, when apoc is concerned.
I thought the movie was a good final trilogy entry and closed out all the mishaps they needed.
to correct from the last trilogy of films where the franchise was sent awry it needed a reboot.
