Which X Force is it? The Cable 90s version that used to fight Stryfe and Exodus or the one from recent years that was killing villains behind everyone's back written by Remender?
Will probably be a mix of whoever Singer and the eventual writer decide on from both teams.Which X Force is it? The Cable 90s version that used to fight Stryfe and Exodus or the one from recent years that was killing villains behind everyone's back written by Remender?
What I’m not for is throwing a bunch of characters together and hoping it works.”
I think it might be fine if he is just an exec producer but I am not interested in him writing/directing anything else in the X-universe.
Yup. If early reviews are correct about the new X-Men, it's time to him to depart the franchise. Always thought he was overrated anyway, especially after Warner gave him carte blanche for Superman Returns.Get rid of Singer as director
It is breh. Look at all of the successful, faithful comic adaptations recently. Then there's Fox's X-men which is inexplicably led by Mystique?! It's not even justifiable if she was played by an actual decent actress. J law and Singer should walk away from the inferno they created.People still saying x-men is ruined
Fox is really milking the fukk outta these X Men comics.
They did the costumes right in Deadpool , I dknt even fukk with superhero movies , but those XMen costumes were legitI need better costume designers and shyt for the next movies
The still-untitled X-Force movie has found its director and a pair of co-writers.
A source close to the film tells ComicBook.com that Joe Carnahan, known best for his work on The Grey, has been tapped to direct the X-Force movie. Carnahan will also write the film, with Deadpool star and executive producer Ryan Reynolds. The source says work has already begun between the two on the film.
Carnahan's resume extends to The A-Team, The Blacklist, and Smokin' Aces. He is also in line to direct the upcoming Bad Boys for Life film with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence returning to the franchise after years of Michael Bay running the saga. The Bad Boys sequel was recently pushed back on Sony's release schedule.
Reynolds is currently working on the sequel to Deadpool which does not yet have a release date, either. He has voiced his desire for the X-Force film to follow Deadpool and Logan's lead (both films from 20th Century Fox) and release under an R-rating, allowing more room for coarse language, violence, and nudity. The popular time-traveling character Cable will be appearing in the sequel and likely crossing over into the X-Force movie, as well.
