Idk what to think about this one... So the last ep of last season... the one with the event we were all waiting for since season 3 or 4... starts s10e06 ending with a ufo shining on scully...

Only for s11e01 to retcon it as a vision of the future from scullys son?

I mean im not mad but when you END a season/series like that... you expect aomething crazy..

If my struggle pt 2/3 were in the middle of a season and not the big finale then i think it woulda worked better but... i get it

Have they even acknowledged that mulder n scully fukked? They show lil to no affection for each other but they talk of this baby like theyre husband and wife.

I mean CSM knocking bytches up all over dudea a rapist. Why did they have to make him one idk... he was my fav character and i look forward to him facing the reformed syndicate


But again.. didnthey retcon the whole alien bounty hinter shyt as fiction cause wasjt dude burned alive in front of everyone.

Mulder and Scully had sex, yeah. Don't remember what ep or what season, it was one of the later ones. It wasn't really shown, but they talked about it.

This "CSM is a rapist" shyt was actually set up in season 6 or 7. Again, my memory is fuzzy but there was an ep where CSM and Scully were (I think) looking for Mulder and when Scully woke up the next morning she was in a bed wearing different clothes. She confronted CSM because she didn't even remember falling asleep and he told her he didn't do anything.

The scene was short as fukk and random so most people forgot about it. Then the next season is when she was pregnant.

Chris Carter's writing has gotten progressively worse over the years....but he actually planted the seeds for this like 16+ years ago. So I gotta salute him for that.

The "mythology" episodes are completely fukked because the series was supposed to end around season 6....earlier in the thread I seen you mention them burning all the original Syndicate....that was supposed to be the end of that entire plot. If I remember correctly season 7 was supposed to tie everything up after 6 answered all the questions.

If you get time go back and watch season 6. Everything up to that point makes perfect sense and aside from a couple loose threads it could've ended perfectly back then.

But the show was doing "Thriller" numbers so it got renewed for 2 more seasons....which is why all the alien shyt from seasons 7, 8, and 9, even now today makes no sense. They're having to add years of plot on to something they originally planned to end in season 7.

So I don't really pay it too much mind. As long as we get a few good standalone eps, I'm straight.

on the one hand it was kinda cool seeing one of the gunmen return...but on the other hand, they way they shoehorned him in and explained why/how was pretty

their sendoff in the original series was good, and this sorta taints it.

and mulder is fukking jack bauer and shyt now with all the moves

he was never that aggressive in the original series/movies
