Graphics and weapons staying in the ring were the only things No Mercy did better. No Mercy is the slowest wrestling game ever.

No Mercy is outdated as fukk, HCTP is the game you have to replicate. They tried to replicate both and created that mess. Fight Forever isn't the worst but it's far from being the best, it's just an average at best game.I wonder why AEW's game couldn't replicate the magic of these games?

Revenge & HCTP are the GOATS.
I've been playing a lot of Revenge lately. Did a handicap match as the Steiners vs Glacier and that muthafukka was beating both of our asses like that one dude did Han and Roman in Fast 6. I had k.o. turned on and that shyt almost caused me. Probably the best match I had in a wrestling game.

I enjoyed Mayhem though. Loved playing as Wrath and Sting
The No Mercy wankfest forever baffles me
- Its sluggish compared to WWF Wrestlemania 2000 and Revenge
- The infamous save glitch
- The story mode was a mess and unfair (try getting involved in a handicap match)
- The roster was iffy AF outside of the main eventers (Meat tho )
Meanwhile, HTCP and even the DOR series evolved wrestling games and sadly will never get the recognition because dumb ass knuckle dragging neckbeeards refuse to put down the rose tinted glasses, and cheeto stained N64 controllers
Sorry for the rant and frustration, but I just want a GOAT wrestling game that's not a "love letter" to the past. I'm over the WWE 2K series, I wouldn't cop Fight Forever if it was worth a half of a nickel, and I'm kinda over the indie game steez.
Guess I'm going to play 2K19, FPRW, and Wrestling Empire for the remainder of my life

The 2k series is great but myfaction is dragging it down. No Mercy has been dog walked by HCTP & DOR2, and PC people bringing up No Mercy being great because of the mods only prove how bad it's aged. For all the complaints neckbeard gamers give 2k, it's funny to see them stan a game that slows to a crawl when more than 3 people are in the ring.The No Mercy wankfest forever baffles me

Man I fired up Revenge on the N64 a few weeks ago. That Nostalgia be hitting like crack for a retro gamer like me. Might even have to fire it up again tonight before i go to bed. Been meaning to put Malenko on another run since replying to the Malenko thread.

The funniest shyt about Revenge was the stage. They came out and they got a 3d set with pyro and flashing lights, then when they got on the ramp the set turned into a postcard.Man I fired up Revenge on the N64 a few weeks ago. I only have the first DoR game for the gamecube. That console is so hard to find shyt for or in good playable condition. For as much of a Playstation homer I am. I've always been better at the wrestling games on the Nintendo consoles don't know why. I still enjoy most of the wrestling games, but I never feel I was as good at them as I was the older stuff on the Nintendo consoles. Even going back to like Royal Rumble and Raw. Even though I was a Genesis guy, the Super Nintendo versions I could always just run. Same with Saturday Night Slam Masters.Man I fired up Revenge on the N64 a few weeks ago. . What I love about the Gamecube WWE games is that they got the HIAC right, you have room to actually wrestle on the outside of the ring so the multi matches are crazy as fukk. RAW 2 had a big cell but that game sucked, it seems that Playstation is the only one that can't get it right.Slam Masters is on the 5?I bought that last year for the PS5

me and my boy still joke about this. From when we were kids. He had the game on his Super Nintendo. I was staying the night, we fired it up as a team and were wrecking shop. Got to the title match. And it was mad competitve but this fool was feeling his character just hyping himself up in the corner and I got murked towards the end of the match. And he could have broke up the pin, but instead of jumping in to save me. This fool goes full Jeff Hardy and is playing to the crowd.
When the Profits first came up. I sent him a clip of Tez and Dawkins and I was like this is us as a real life tag team.
And yes. I'm the Dawkins, but I have the better hair line between the two of us.
