They didn't have anything to work with and pulled it off pretty wel,l plus they made tons of money so overall it was a success

Could've made a lot more money especially if Vince hadn't wasted all that money on the XFL and used that cash to buy the Time Warner contracts of guys like Hogan, Sting, Goldberg, etc.

Rob van dam and rhyno and a good run in the invasion era

Jericho becoming undisputed champ after that too>>>>>>>>>.
Y2J coming out on top was the perfect cap to that storyline given the history he had with both companies

I would have liked to seen Booker T hold the WCW title for the entirety of that run dropping it to Jericho at Invasion though. Would have been a nice little swerve to have the fans think, "well since they gave him that one no way he's beating Austin".

I know it didn't happen but it could've had more star power like Goldberg, Sting etc. Why Goldberg and Steiner came to the 'E after?

Flair came the day after it ended. Hogan,Nash and Hall 6 months later, Bischoff 9 months later, Goldberg 18 months later. That means WWE should have just held off a little bit and slow burned it until the stars were free instead of half assing the biggest storyline in wrestling history

Nope, Vince could've bought the contracts... He just didn't....
Because he isn't an idiot. If he would have brought them in, he would have been paying some of them double or triple of his top stars.

And some of the them didn't want to come in right away, like Goldberg. Who the fukk would want to work when you can get paid your ENTIRE salary and do NOTHING for a year and a half?
