Q4 Earnings report drops Thursday. Should provide insight on things like:

-Crown Royal financial success
-real analysis of their first full quarter on Fox / how great Raw has done to retain viewers / insight on NXT deal?
-their international growth continuing to secure great deals
-their domestic live events dwindling
-declining memberships of the Network

WWE still a MONEY MAKING machine, but alot of pressure might be on them after next week. Especially with new names at those key roles in the board room. We all know how Vince does under pressure.... I'm staying far away from this stock until more dust settles.

The fact that the Network membership is declining rather than growing speaks to how much of a failure the Network has been.

Don't get me wrong, I love it for the archive but that is a very niche interest. They've left so much money on the table taking Wrestlemania off PPV.

The Big 4 should have stayed PPV and the rest of the events would be available on the Network. With their house shows on the decline too, I actually foresee them going to that.

as a customer I love the network, it’s crazy how much you get for $9.99

As a business decision, agreed the big 4 should be on pay per view

How many times have they been offering the Network for free?? They do that so much you wonder if people are even paying :mjlol:

Don't remember them ever stopping the whole "1st month free for new subscribers"

It is hilariously easy to create burner emails. Also, you can't beat watching Wrestlemania for free. All of these people asking for streams in the threads when they can just create a throwaway real quick and watch in 1080p.

The Network should have been for small PPV/events, archived stuff, and original content. Hell, any PPV that will actually have storyline ramifications should be PPV. Elimination Chamber, Money in the Bank, Clash of Champions (maybe). Outside of those, can't remember any PPVs in the modern era that were actually worth a shyt. :laff:

It’s pretty impossible to go back to $70 when you’ve established something as $10 for the last 6 years. There’s a chance with Wrestlemania but only to a point. Without the Big 4 PPVs, the network is dead

:unimpressed:...........it really should had been a celebration for wrestling in general:

Remember this shyt. This shyt should had delivered, instead of declining the overall product. Just think about it, the Network caused the following:

  • The big 4 looking like glorified house shows and longer Raw episodes
  • The product becoming stale instead of fresh
  • Wrestlers getting fukked over financially
  • Lack of growth for the overall product
Seriously, I was expecting growth with the WWE. I'm talking about creativity out of the ass with the Network. What they do, they b*stardize the Network by getting rid of hidden gems, not opening the vault, and just using the Network as a ploy rather than a gain. Hell, look out other subscription sites like DDT Universe, Highspots Network, and Independent Wrestling TV. For 9.99, you are getting shoots, exclusive content, and EVERY SINGLE SHOW that airs which is a big part of each service (DDT keeps pumping out older shows that may have been forgotten, Highspots got the RF Video collection, and Indy Wrestling got a partnership with Smark Mark video for a shyt ton of content for 9.99). Why should I give my 9.99 to a company that constantly treats wrestling fans like knuckle dragging morons, when I can easily spend my 9.99 and then some on other services that make me feel like the wrestling fans matter and wrestling fans desire more than just scraps for nostalgia pops.

Haven't delved far enough into the DDT fukkery to warrant a sub, but my experience with NJPWorld has been A+. The site itself is very easy to navigate, and they dont bullshyt when they say they have everything. Can go watch Inoki classics back in the 70s, interviews, everything. Once they get their app game good, it's over. :banderas:

You don't even have to create burner accounts. If you have gmail, all you need to do is add +number before the @ and you can use the same email and same card for unlimited free trials. I haven't paid for the Network since the first 6 months when they locked you in.
