Nah, WM 19 was the perfect ending to a GOAT career and arguably the GOAT rivalry. Steve knows that and it's why he'll never have another official sanctioned match.

Doesn't mean he can't pull up and have a brawl with KO though, sounds like that's what this is gonna delve into rather than the routine stunner segment.
So what are your thoughts on Sting :patrice:

I hope not. The legends beating up young talent is played out.

If anything, to actually BUILD suspense and hype for the SCSA-KO segment, they should have KO beat up on Booker, Shawn, and JBL these next three weeks. Then at WM, SC is the final boss.

Obviously SC aint taking a "L" vs KO, but if done right, they can do the segment where KO looks good but SCSA still comes out on top.

Prob something like they fight, KO gets the upper hand (Austin is always willing to let the young guy get his licks in, he's the only one who let Russev get any offense in at WM 32 while the rest just beat up on the League of Nations), and then the Texas legends KO beat up come out and help Austin regain the upper hand, stunner, beer. crowd pops.

this would be for the best :ehh:

everyone comes out looking good this way

They should do sumthn pre taped like booker/Scsa in The grocery store…like steve just whoops KO ass all around the stadium n than they walk out to the crowd he hits a stunner n thats it
Amazing idea

A cinematic match where Austin beats Kevin Owens ass all around a known Dallas landmark or park then they stumble out the ring and Austin hits one last Stunner for the 1-2-3 would be classic

Best case senario is that its a smoke and mirrors brawl after the segment

Likely its him coming out stunning him and having a beer celebration

Y'all bugging if y'all don't want a STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN match if he's as healthy and fit as they say, and promos in the coming weeks. Age is irrelevant if he looks and acts the part.

JR said if they would have approached Steve like 4-5 months ago with this then he would have had the chance to get in shape so he can be at his best. But since they basically reached out to him around the same time we heard about this, and since he is 50+ he won’t be able to get in the necessary shape.

So with that said no I don’t want to see a washed up out of shape stone cold match

but everyone else has said that he is in shape and has a ring on deck for a long time. And in my scenario i said that IF he is in shape, in the first place.

True

But there is a difference between being in shape for a 50 year old and training for WM. But I get your point.

Ultimately it would be better than him coming out and saying a few words and stunning KO then drinking beer like we have seen 1,000 times already.

On a recent edition of his Grilling JR podcast (h/t WrestlingNews.co), AEW commentator Jim Ross — a close friend of Austin's — revealed that he recently spoke to The Texas Rattlesnake, who didn't seem keen on the idea of wrestling another match.

"It looks like Austin is not going to do anything at WrestleMania as far as wrestling in the ring," Ross said. "He and I have talked, but at the time we talked, he didn’t know what he was going to do and he didn’t sound overwhelmingly enthusiastic about it."

Ross, who served as the lead WWE commentator during Austin's historic run with the company, added that Austin "is a perfectionist" and simply won't do something "unless he thinks he can pull it off as something perfect." Ross opined that a decision on Austin wrestling at The Show of Shows have been "decided six months ago", and that Austin should have been able to choose his opponent.

Exact vibes I caught from that promo
