I think the Aries angle was obviously taken from Punk, along with Harvy and AA suddenly and repeatedly now calling themselves some variation of the best in the world. WWE using the voiceover is so obvious its hilarious. Idk about the AJ thing because I wasnt watching TNA then. As for tonight, we have to see what they do with it before you can claim it's a ripoff.
Here's the thing...
I'm aware that companies steal from each other all the time. It's just the nature of the business.
What I speak on is the overreaction when TNA takes something vs. the usual lack of reaction when WWE takes something. Not just here, but with the dirtsheets and IWC in general.
The Aries/Hardy thing...if people want to call it a rip...it lasted one show. Aries immediately lost the belt and the dynamic of their feud changed from there. And a jealousy angle was to be expected. Hardy is a junky who ruined a PPV by being high off his ass and came back to big push and the best crowd response.
The AJ angle is the most blatant of them all. Just because its so absurd.
As for this attack angle, I don't expect it to be exactly like A&8s. But like I said earlier, the timing + the other TNA things we know they're running is a bit ironic.
