Am I the only one not feeling the SummerSlam vibe this year? Past Summerslams they built it up as a "summertime Wrestlemania" but not this year. It seems like just a regular ppv is comming up, Dolph vs Jericho is really the only match I want to see because it seems like a new feud and a possibly of someone new getting pushed (thank you Based Y2J).

I really don't want to see Big Show in the main event, I really don't want to see Cena in YET another title match, HHH vs Brock should have been built as a street fight since both men want to kill each other, D-Bry vs Kane may be entertaining due to D-bry's fukkery but the match seems thrown together, I don't know the status of the World Heavyweight Title match situation, and the other titles and mid-card wrestlers have been shytted on so much they are meaningless. Maybe it's just me that feels this way but Summerslam lost its big time feel which is a shame since this is the 25th Anniversary, a big deal should have been made about that fact.

- A local commerical that aired during RAW hyping the August 27 RAW from Milwaukee, Wisconsin is advertising John Cena vs Big Show in No Disqualification match. The ad (and the Bradley Center website) are hyping it as a "revenge" match. WWE Champion CM Punk had been previously scheduled for the main event.

- We noted before that Heath Slater vs. Kofi Kingston was taped last night in Austin, Texas as the first match for WWE's new Saturday Morning Slam show that debuts on August 25th, the Saturday after WWE's SummerSlam pay-per-view. That match saw WWE United States Champion Santino Marella come out for commentary and he had the US Title belt with him.

This could be a sign that Santino will retain the United States Title against Antonio Cesaro in the SummerSlam YouTube pre-show match this coming Sunday, August 19th. It's always possible that WWE could not show Santino on Saturday Morning Slam or do some other kind of editing if they decide to have Cesaro win the title in the SummerSlam pre-show match.

- After much speculation, WWE named Sheamus' opponent for SummerSlam at last night's SmackDown tapings and that man is none other than Alberto Del Rio. The match was nixed last week by General Manager Booker T and the feeling was that new contenders would be named.

--Jim Ross noted going to SummerSlam this year to do more voice over work for the video game because the Attitude Era stuff will be with he and Jerry Lawler on commentary. But he'd be there so there's a chance he'll do a match. He's also there for the camp as he's one of the people HHH has assigned when it comes to evaluations of potential talent.

--Ross will also be filming an interview with Steve Austin and C.M. Punk together to promote the video game, since Punk is on the cover of the game, and Austin as the star of the Attitude Era, is considered one of the key people in the game.

- At last word, the plan was for WWE Champion CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Big Show to close Sunday's SummerSlam pay-per-view. There has been discussion of putting the title on Cena and doing Cena vs. The Rock at the Royal Rumble followed by Punk vs. Rock at WrestleMania 29. However, it's speculated that WWE will end up going with Cena vs. Rock II at WrestleMania and Punk vs. Rock at the Royal Rumble.

With Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar not scheduled to main event, that could suggest that Lesnar is winning. There may be the feeling there that Lesnar needs a win after losing to Cena a few months back.

- People within WWE still expect Charlie Sheen to work Sunday's SummerSlam pay-per-view but nobody talking is aware of why he hasn't been advertised in advance.

- Expect Sin Cara vs. Cody Rhodes to be added to the WWE SummerSlam card on Sunday. As noted before, Damien Sandow vs. Brodus Clay is also penciled in. If both of these matches happen, that would bring the SummerSlam card to 10 matches, including the pre-show match.

You paying for a Big Show/Cena/Punk main event?

Nah, i`m paying for SS, always do unless it's atrocious.

I`m really paying to see Brock vs. HHH, with the additional Jericho/Zigger and Bryan/Kane matches as a little extra incentive.

I could give a fukk less about that triple threat match, no way in hell it should main even, should be the curtain jerker.

Knowing the E this is the one time they`ll make the title match the main event, the one time they shouldn't all year.
