Yeah the whole Sami/KO thing should have been built up to their own coronation at WM.
Basically the whole thing would go in four phases.
1. KO and Sami reunite with everyone skeptical. Even Zayn himself.
2. It becomes apparent they are on the same page and extremely dominant as a tandem. Almost if they have one mind. Instead of them being thwarted and harassed by Shane at every turn they actually are a huge thorn in his side made worse by Daniel Bryan's bias for them.
3. Shane figures it is best if he tries to split them up somehow so he uses Owen's greed to drive a wedge. Basically they would play up tension until a brutal one on one at Fastlane where Bryan would award them both a title shot against AJ at Mania, as a reward for such a great performance, essentially making it a four way. Shane is okay with this because he feels like eventually they will kill each other and that will be that.
4. At WM everything looks to play out normally and after a 20-25 minute classic where it looks like one of the faces may win, KO does something cheap but instead of him taking the victory he throws Zayn on top of the champ and he wins the title. Turns out it's was a ploy to become the first KO-CHAMPIONS of SD!
After that you can have them go on a huge run picking up the Tag and US titles along the way. Then this is where Shane could really do his petty bullshyt and have a good reason. But Shane being a bytch to Zayn and Owens also runs afoul of some other superstars and you could even form some sort of anti authority stable from it, a neckbeard NWOwens.
But nah. We got this instead.

Probably the only thing consistently good about the show.
Lesser people would've been dropped this show.... but we watch the WWE
Sitting through hours of trash programming is nothing to us
