I don't think the show's trash but it has been highly inconsistent the last few months. You'll get a pretty good episode like last weeks followed by 2-3 weeks where they phone it in, like tonight.
Even New Day/Usos, which is one of the best feuds in all of WWE right now, is starting to drag, especially since neither team has gotten much promo time since the rap battle.
But most of the problems now were there before Road Dogg fully took over, like multiple people being left off the show every week.

They had Jinder cut a racist as hell promo to Shinsuke, to the point where the crowd...
...Mind you this is a wrestling crowd ....

Having Dolph Ziggler waste valuable time on a 2 hour show playing dress up for several weeks is inexcusable. More talented people could be filling that time slot like Sami Zayn or Luke Harper or even one of the tag teams.
