According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has been taking slow approach to its booking right now and that why the company has been having so many multiple person matches. Plans are supposed to pick up in July, building towards Summerslam. Although WWE has a creative direction for Summerslam, they don’t have a lot of ideas right now and as a result are using the multiple person matches to fill time.

The plans for Rusev’s return were said to be changed because of Jinder Mahal’s WWE Championship win. The WON reports that the plan was to have Rusev return for a WWE Championship match at Money in the Bank. He had said on his vignettes that he was not going to return until he received a title shot but has not been mentioned on air since then.
The website says that the decision on giving Mahal the championship does not appear to have been finalized until two weeks ago, and with him as champion instead of Orton, there is no spot currently in place for him. Therefore, they now need a new way to get him back on television and are thinking of ideas

Both brands need to chill with all these goddamn four ways, five ways, six pack challenges, and tag team turmoil matches. Gimmick matches like Elimination Chamber and Money in the Bank notwithstanding.
All these matches do is expose how thin the rosters are.

I just hope they re-ignite the tag team scene in general. Where was AA last week? After you re-debut the Colons, the feud amounted to just being 3 weeks and that's it. No reason should the tag team scene be the tag champs and whoever they decide to push this week.
Also, Luke Harper needs to be involved somehow. I don't mind him and Rowan feuding, but that's really a feud where no one wins, cause both guys need to win. Same with Tye/English. If you change someones gimmick, I don't know how you have them immediately lose.
We really needed another heavyweight in a suit carrying the belt. I don't know what it is about Rollins or KO but the suit just doesn't fit them the same way it does for Jinder.Let's get it :jinder:
