I think the dude doing the legit entrance at Wrestlemania week, paying like the marks, is fukking hilarious.

I'd say only do this for gimmicks that didn't last long for one reason or another. Always thought Sean O'Haire's devil's advocate gimmick was great, he just couldn't cut live promos (plus they neutered his entire moveset and made him gain weight, but save that for another day). The vignettes were fantastic, and thought could be used for another wrestler now. Planet Staziak is another one that was just hilarious. Also, when they had Michael Tarver just chilling backstage in a suit during segments, and him just nodding his head and leaving pretty much gimmicks that weren't entirely developed or ones that stalled out due to various reasons, those could easily be brought back for guys today. I don't care to re-do Kane, Taker, etc, hugely popular gimmicks that are very identifiable to the previous person

I’m not saying a fake razor situation but giving other wrestlers a spin off of gimmicks

You could give someone like Baron Corbin Kane’s mask and keep a similar gimmick going , not saying they should but just a example

you are not saying but you actually are? If baron had a kane mask with a "similar gimmick going" perception wise that is a soft recast they just arent naming him kane but everytime you see him you are reminded of the OG. Given rasslin characters are kind of like superheroes and they do it in comics all the time it could work if done right ala stone cold being the essence of orton's viper gimmick

No that should’ve been Bray and if they cared it could’ve worked. But they rather run FlabbyTaker and Senior Citizen Kane into the ground whenever they need a new monster.
