Dolph got a win
I didn't care for the opening segment of Raw. There was really no reason for King to be getting in shots on Punk, in fact considering the "beating" that King received last week, that would have justified his absence for this week.
The back and forth between Punk and Sheamus was brutal. Sheamus looked and sounded like a idiot.
Dolph vs Orton had the potential to be a good match but it bordered on being just 'okay'. RO doesn't care and it shows. Dolph as usual had his working boots on, but he was in the ring with someone who is clearly resting on his laurels. Meh.
The tag match of Rey/Cara vs Cody/Tensai didn't capture my attention so...
Sheamus vs Swagger ehh...its not like its hard to predict the outcome of a match involving Swagger.
Eve vs Kaitlyn w/ Layla doing commentary was pretty bad on both ends. I thought Layla had a few good retorts in there against the Miz, but the whole scenario was mind boggling.
Ryback vs Mahal
The WWE Universe "choosing" Kane and D-Bry to hug it out was to be expected. I thought that last week once Kane got involved with the Anger Management segments, that the dynamic between the two could go on a few weeks, leading to them becoming a tag team, friends, whatever. However, this week I'm just left feeling stupefied about the whole matter. I just wasn't enthralled with the recorded segments and the hug fest lasted far too long.
Santino vs Cesaro..
@ Ryder vs Slater. I mean, really? Like last week, Vickie should have excused herself as the match was starting.
The AJ and Vickie segment was alright. While I found it amusing how Vickie reacted towards AJ's apology:
it doesn't make sense. This was another storyline that I thought had potential but now... ehh. Say what you will about Vickie but she makes the most out of her time. @ her skipping...somewhat.
No slight to AJ, I mean she's doing what she can I suppose and really the E has a way of overplaying their hand and that is what happened with her.
Cena vs ADR had its moments but wasn't all that impressive. Punk attacking Cena was good and they truly did save the best for last with the Paul-E cameo. That alone will have me tuning in next week.
Not as if I wasn't going to anyway.
Overall two *'s.
Would be dope if they went with #2... Option 1 does nothing but give Cena a win back...Punk/Cena has good chemistry and would put on a near classic... You know Brock/Rock would deliver just on the of seeing them in the ring together after almost 11 years...My TSC brehs, what if it all goes down like this????:
(TSC sistas too, allegedly. A cleavage shot with a "I love Swiggy" sign for my birthday would be bause )
But naw'l, Heyman is going to set up the new power trip, where the campaign to give Punk the needed respect to the WWE Uni is sealed with some Brock goonery. He also gets Vicki on his side, as she somehow overthrows AJ for RAW GM, playing Ziggler in the process. She is then in position to get Punk sauced up in every main event of RAW moving forward, as well as consistently featuring him in moreso.
The Brock goonery comes into play at Night of Champions, where Cena is clearly poised to take back the strap, only for Lesnar to give him the business, keeping the strap on Punk.
So Cena is out here, fighting this fight alone. Lawler comes back to try to help in some fakkit way, but Vicki tosses his ass in the bushes, letting Miz be that color commentator/IC champ. The Heyman Hustlas put the beats on Cena for a couple weeks before...
The Great One, The People's Champ, The Rock returns to level the playing field
This sets up yet another tag match with Rock and Cena as partners at Survivor Series, but instead of whack ass Mizruth, it's against Punk and Lesnar
That back and forth leads up to a fitting win, setting up that Rock/Punk match at the Rumble, while putting Cena and Brock as the main story for the actual Rumble itself.
Two scenarios:
1. Rock wins title/Cena wins Rumble: Sets up the dreaded Rock/Cena II where The Rock ruffles John's hair and says "I was just playin around, I make real money now. Here's your belt, fakkit".
2. Punk beats Rock/Cena still wins Rumble: Punk wins with Lesnar-assisted fukkery, Rock returns favor by somehow costing Lesnar the Rumble, maybe halfway into it, or at the end so the Rock shines at the end. This sets up a HOPEFULLY well-built match going into mania with Punk/Cena, and you can go anywhere the fukk you want with that one. John prolly HAS to win at this point. The real prize, tho, would be Lesnar/Rock.
Real life fighter vs not just a sports entertainer, but an actor
You won't have the stupid fukking back-and-forth Cena and Rock had, but Rock cutting promos with Heyman, and getting into brawls with Lesnar that would look legit good with Rock selling shyt.
#2 is the best option, because it avoids Rock/Cena II, and gives Vince another Mania headliner for the ignorant masses, that will forget about Brock's initial burial.
@ Heyman rolling out with the look of disgust on his face.
Abraham Washington watching at home like "That could have been me driving the car "
Punk ain't driving with a brotha.
This Show Was Aiight Overall Miz Was Cool At The Table Tonite A lil annoying when him and layla (I don't like her Eve Though ) was bickering A.j's reign is almost over I want Johnny Ace Back
