it's too clean and sanitary...you can't make beating up people "family friendly". That is essentially humans at their most basic animalistic form and you're trying to present it like a trip to disneyland .

Exactly. It's got sitcom pacing and structure without the laugh track. I think it is an achievement for them to be this good at producing live tv that it seems taped. But there is a certain sterility to the product that kills excitement for 90% of the show. At this point it's beyond the booking. Its the whole presentation.
