So let me get this straight:

Zack Ryder wins the title at Wrestlemania, loses it the next night on RAW, but then gets a rematch easily because it's apparently in his contract to get a rematch event though he didn't successfully defend it once...

Kevin Owens wins the title on RAW back in February, successfully defends it against Dean Ambrose and Ziggler, then loses the title at Wrestlemania. But when he wants to use his contractually able rematch, they're like "nah you gotta earn it"

Dave Meltzer also notes that the original storyline idea was that Shane McMahon would be running RAW for a 2nd week due to the post-Wrestlemania RAW rating being so high. Since the RAW rating was seen as a disappointment, the storyline was changed to "social media support" as the reason for Shane running the show again.
