That's good but Maddox is goofy as fukk. I guess he has a decent sleaze factor but he hasn't been built up well at all. I can't fukk with him yet. But my opinion is subject to change, unless it doesn't. Which is entirely possible.

he's not built up but he's got the potential to be a monster, working with heyman will only benefit him and the shield

maddox looks like eric bischoff, has that smug smile of a guy you just aren't supposed to like, isn't the biggest guy so he'll have to be as cowardly/coniving as it comes to actually win a match, and is a guy we aren't used to/a new talent

im not saying turn the kid in to a champ in 5 months but he has ready made potential to hold over ryback in a feud or snitch/cheat his way in to a niche spot where as you have his counter part bo dallas[eh to me] who earned a shot from nxt to the rumble and is likely to feud with way barry and become a ic champion "the right way"

off the bat, if writing made sense, you build up two stars like that and even if they dont get initial reactions, you have a storyline that has depth and writing that make senses and gives a belt thats been passed around an actual angle with meaning and two young guys a chance to grow/develop...isn't that what makes character development work?
plus its the ic title so its defended on smackdown anyway
