Wwe needs to save themselves. Ratings ain't looking as good anymore and they refuse to build some more stars to keep them going for the future.:francis:

Tna is tryna regroup. Let them be. It's another company where wrestlers can work and do it on television.:dame:

Wwe is too petty:beli:

No he hasn't, half the shyt he says about TNA is outright lies.

He was right about Spike dropping them and he was right about Destination America dropping them
He was right about Russo and the e-mails and the pay snag

:patrice: even if that's half, thats a strong half

WWE is the #2 behind UFC brah...that's thier main rival in that demographic

No it's not. Only people I can think of who even watch UFC are some crossover WWE fans (ones who would never leave the product anyways), some combat sports fans, and redneck hick Trump-supporting weirdo's. Kids and women don't watch that shyt and they definitely don't rake in as much on merchandising and ticket sales. WWE's social media and online presence alone is leaps and bounds above UFC, only thing UFC has over the E is that its "real" so its name and brand is taken a bit more seriously.

UFC gets way higher ad rates than WWE, did $157m profit in 2015 vs. WWE $30m profit, had a 4 Bllion valuation that actually went through (when they were sold) vs. WWE $1.4Billion. In TV Ratings, WWE wins, but that's about it

Always good to see stats back up arguments

What is the WWE valued at?
If it is less than the 4 billion dollars that the UFC sold for, then there is nothing to discuss.

First he said Spike was gonna drop them because TNA was broke, then when the RUsso email when out it changed from them being broke to them hiring Russo back against Spike wishes.
Then Spike Presdient came out and said they simply let the contract they had end, there was no dropping there was no ill wishes.
Then it was TNA was gonna do shows in europe they have no tv deal, then it was Paramount is going to buy TNA or WGN is going to buy TNA, TNA goes to destination america instead.
Then its TNA and Destination AMerica is a bad fit, Dixie emails caused DA to drop them, then you find out DA changed their direction period and doubled down on ghost shows and dropped werstling entirely.
Now they are with Pop, oh TNA is broke, they lost rights to TNA name, no they sold the rights of the TNA name.
Oh Dixie gonna sell, Dixie hasn't sold yet.

We can go on and on, but this shyt is getting sad now.

Meltzer has been saying for years that TNA is on the brink of closing down. But yet they keep bouncing back. :skip:

Never stated that. He's always said they had $ problems, hes always said the Carters were close to pulling $ out (they did), but he always said they'd keep going as long as they had TV and were willing to lose money.

You're asserting that Dixie lying about Russo's employment status had nothing to do with Spike canceling Impact? Mike Johnson from pwinsider.com got the email directly, why would TNA have Russo as a secret writer, then? While Impact ran shows with Russo as secret writers, Meltzer was talking on his podcast at the time about how Russoisms returned.

Thats pretty much primarily due to the TV contract and secondarily due to UFC fukking its fighters. Vince lost longterm when transitioning Professional Wrestling from Sport to Entertainment as the big ticket advertisers doesnt want to associate itself with a joke.

Spike got out of the wrestling business and doubled down on combat sports and signed a PBC deal.
You don't think maybe Spike was shifting away from wrestling?
On top of that, how is TNA cancelled or fired when the contract runs out. If they knew what they were talking about they would have reported that Spike would not renew contract, not cancel the broadcast, two different things.
