He's almost 80. I doubt that he can deal with the stress of running a wrestling company again at this stage of his life. Plus dealing with Dixie would take years off his life.
Ted never "ran" a wrestling company. He showed it on his tv stations then bought WCW and always had employees running it. The most he did was remind the bean counters that he is the boss so dont fukk with my wrassling, which is what Dixie/Bob/Panda shoulda did

I think ted being hands off is what killed it, he didn't demand ROI and keep track and demand accountability from Bischoff and Co.
I give dixie credit for firing Jarett.
If she was smart she would have give the book to Dusty Rhodes and tell him to run it and she'll oversee it.
The House of Hardcore shyt with Dreamer running the book was successful as well.

ROH on Sinclair been outdoing TNA in viewers since Sinclair purchased ROH in 2011. Always outdid TNA in live attendance and passed TNA in ppv buys post Joe-Angle in a cage & got Russo-riffic
ROH is syndicated. It doesn't come on nationally on a specific night at a specific time every week.
There is a difference in terms of how ratings are counted in those instances.
Currently the only wrestling companies that have that type of TV slot are WWE and TNA (NJPW has a weekly show but they are airing year old programming).

Agreed. Just have to add that Lucha Underground also has a weekly show at a set time, cable companies just don't add El Rey for some reason.

That was an error on my part mostly cause I download Lucha since my shytty cable company doesn't have El Rey in HD. Its just WWE, Lucha and TNA at the moment.

they should have it was a money loser, if they were making money AOL would have left it alone.

Selling WCW and canceling Monday Nitro were two separate decisions. When Bischoff's group reached the agreement with AOL-TW, it was based on Nitro staying on air, in which case WCW losing money didnt matter.

I never said selling WCW and Nitro were the same decision.
WCW losing money always was going to matter when Ted wasn't there to shield it and people who didn't love it were over deciding whether to let it continue or to kill it off, which again is my point, if Ted would have been involved in it and demanded the accountability he demanded in his other projects fiscally, they would have had better financial standing and would have been able to keep going most likely.

TNA was on the come up with Jarrett running the company. He should've never had gotten kicked to the curb in the first place.

:why:

If Jeff hadn't been kicked to the curb, TNA wouldn't have made it past 2003. He was the reason that Dixie and Panda were brought in in the first place, and the promotion he started after TNA is literally a ponzi scheme.
