No custom sets.
No TitanTrons on the TitanTron.
CFO$ with their good but painfully repetitive themes.
No pyro.

I swear that Vince is gonna phase out wrestling before he dies.

Wrong, he's actually phasing out the Entertainment on focusing more on the wrestling.

Rollins, AJ, Owens, Nakamura, Balor, Joe all being main event guys, it's more important than ever to be able to work because they ain't gonna give you all that extra shyt. Your ring work needs to standout cause you ain't gonna get a MVP, Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston entrance

They might not be able to afford the air to pump up those Bayley inflatable wavy people in a month or so :mjcry:

Say no more.

Not a single one of them was at the MSG house show.

A year earlier she had about 6 of them at the NXT Poughkeepsie house show.

I also think they just cooled on her in general, but interesting to think about.

Mixed feelings. Pyro makes certain entrances and characters special

But

That gotdamn explosion before Kane in particular walks out is :damn: in person because it comes with no kinda warning

This, I was deaf for hours after Mania 23 and I had ringing in ears after a couple RAWS as well. But it's cool television effect and helped make the stars feel larger than life.

Lol but according to neckbeards the company is more profitable than ever :snoop:

I'm pretty sure it's NOT "neckbeards" saying this :lolbron::mjlol:

As far as OP's post, doesn't surprise me at all. Watered down themes, watered down promos, micromanaging of crowds, hell, sooner or later they'll just take themes away completely. This company is pathetic, but thank God it isn't my sole source of wrestling like it is for some people on here:sas2:

Trying to make the product as bland as possible, I stopped watching, I don't know how you guys watched larger than life characters in the late 80's, the attitude era and ruthless aggression can actually still watch

Was there pyro in the 80s?

This is more of a symptom of HHH raiding the indys for 35 year olds who don't have time to reinvent themselves. The homemade guys are still more character based.

Its always about making more money.

If it was always about making more money they wouldn't have had pyro for guys like Shawn Michaels, edge, Batista, Kane, Randy Orton, big show, rey mysterio, etc for all those years.

That's not even counting all them different stage set ups they had.

The wwe probably not even making as much bread from the shows like they used to which is the only reason why I could see them scaling down the aesthetics of the shows.
