I feel the creative team told Ziggler that the only way to make the face turn legit was to lose the belt, to never give up and appear humbled when he loses.

And it made Del Rio gain a new "I'm your champ you should love me guys!" new heel gimmick. His post-win promo was amazing.

Ziggler's getting the belt back in a month or so. No worries.

I think they hold it off until SummerSlam. Let him win the belt back on the biggest stage possible.
