and they really werent needed for the MSG show. it sold out anyway.
the elite showing up when everybody knows theyre starting their own league, would be a distraction and they would be the main ones benefitting from the show.

The shows right after MSG drew 500 people and they've only cracked 1000 2 or 3 times and they were on joint shows since. ROH had almost identical average numbers from 2018 to 2019 despite 2019 having a sold out 16k show when the biggest show they did in 2018 was just under 6k.
