This... and I like Sandow... but this is an ongoing pattern that always happens with the IWC. Someone new comes, they're a heel, they do some good promos, show off a couple moves... two months later, "give him the _____ title".
I'd say at least give Sandow some legs first so that the win/reign actually means something. That's the shyt that's gonna make this Cesaro run forgettable, just like McIntyre's run was forgettable a couple years back, just like Sheamus' first run with the WWE title was seen as a joke. Cesaro can likely become a viable character, but at the moment nobody even gives a shyt about him enough for this US title win to mean anything. Everbody talks about how the midcard titles have become more or less a prop... but someone who's been around for three months and just now started a mini-feud with Brodus deserves to have the IC? Throwing the belt on a brand-new wrestler out of nowhere rarely does anything for the belt or the person holding it.

Sandow has the right tools...and the ic belt is not going to go anywhere with the miz, in fact its going to step down because Cody actually made it relevant and meaningful and has better matches with lower tier talen than Miz does with higher card

Look at the examples you gave.
Angle, Lesnar, and RVD. Sandow ain't done anything as impressive as they did. Not saying he can't, but he hasn't yet. What has he done besides cut a few good promos that makes it a must that he be a champion right this minute?
Let him get some more traction first is all I'm sayin'... this "toss the belt on anyone that got a few nice promos off and beat a few jobbers" shyt ain't gonna do anybody any favors. Hell, even Lesnar was beating the Hardyz and RVD in his first couple months. Sandow has beaten who?
