I've said it it feels like a million times, but NAOMI HAS ALWAYS BEEN BETTER THAN AJ.

People are so caught up on AJ because she's a tiny light skinned latina.

Naomi is a fantastic wrestler, if you've ever seen her work from NXT or FCW she was pulling good matches out of everyone. Compare that to AJ's work when she finally was allowed to wrestle on RAW and she was sloppy and mediocre. Her best matches were against Naomi.

Naomi should be divas champion right now. She's the only one who is consistently over for being athletic in the ring. It was the same way on NXT. She couldn't talk but the crowd was always into her matches and popped for her and the announcers always put her over while Kaitlyn was always rightfully buried because she was terrible. Even in the deciding match for NXT, it was Naomi vs Kaitlyn and the announcers shyt on Kaitlyn the entire time because they knew she was booked to win and Naomi was better.

They should definitely push her. She had me like damn when she was out there flying around and spinning in the air. From what i saw she looks better in the ring than the other one. nikkas were praising Eve like she suddenly was a great wrestler and Naomi went in there and made her look like exposing her horrible timing, sloppiness and overall generic ability.

I hope it's not one of those cases where someone's like "We don't want you outshining the men, just wrestle like a diva." and her refusing to do it.

It just seems so obvious that she could be used more in the ring. She has an athletic background and she never really looks lost out there. I think since 2010 she's only been in like 3 televised matches besides the NXT ones. Really hope they use her more in the future because that's talent right there, chick is like a hidden gem that's not really hidden.

Breh, I don't know what's going on with that. First the farting and now she's Khali's girl. Think about it, the entire time Natalya and Beth were on the roster they only had 1 singles match against other and that only happened after Beth made notice that she was leaving.

I think I remember that report too, Naomi had to substitute in for Kaitlyn(delayed flight or something) and the live report said she killed it in the ring. Soon after she got the match against Eve and then she went back to dancing. I mean I like her dancing too but come on, just seems like she's being held back or something. I remember Jericho saying something like "Some people don't like it when the Divas outshine the men." and that may be the case with her. Gail Kim spoke about that too:

“It’s so frustrating to be working so hard and know that it’s not going anywhere and it doesn’t matter."

Honestly there were times when I felt like if we had a great match, say on Superstars if we had seven minutes and the chance to tell a story, I felt like maybe we’d get punished for having a good match.

“It’s sad that when you have a great match you know it won’t be rewarded."

Think that was around the time she was being used as Daniel Bryan's girlfriend.

I think there are some other people backstage who prevent them and force them to stay in non-wrestling roles.

Looking at those two sequences from Natalya and Naomi, their ability IS up there with a few of the men on the roster. There have been few times that they've had women with that type of athleticism. Naomi reminds me of Lita pre-neck injury, and even then Lita wasn't pulling off those types of moves because she didn't have that background.

It is possible that it's exactly what Gail said, that they don't want the women outshinging the men. They want them to be horrible. If Beth and Natalya wrestled each other, or Gail feuded with Beth and Natalya regularly or Melina on the A show they would get too much spotlight. There's a few matches against Melina and Gail on YT where Melina was pulling off some impressive shyt, like backflipping off the ropes or Gail doing some of her crazy top rope work and arm drags.

They did it all on superstars.

I think whoever is doing the matches for the main show is telling them divas who can work to hit the back of the bus or to go to the ring and smile, not wrestle.

There's no excuse for Beth and Natalya failing to wrestle after 5 years together on the roster. There's no excuse for Naomi being kept in developmental for 3 years when she was better than her "pro" Kelly Kelly. There's no excuse for the diva's champion to be unable to put together a decent match to save her life, and finally, there is no reason why the two most athletically skilled females on the roster are not working a feud.

It wouldn't be too hard to have Natalya work heel against a babyface Naomi, since Natalya has done it before and Naomi has that cute spunk/Brodus gimmick athleticism going for her.

It's like they want the divas to be shyt.

Yeah I really appreciate Cole's commentary at times, he tries to sprinkle in little bits of truth. Often times when there's a horrible cluster of a divas match in progress he says exactly what it is and the opposite is true too. You can tell that he's impressed with some of the women but he and JBL don't really have enough power to push for Naomi or Natalya to get more in ring time.

I don't think it's HHH but somebody just doesn't care and that's the worst thing, when they just don't care about what you can do in the ring. I think HHH was the one who got Sara Del Rey and Kharma on board but now Kharma's gone and Del Rey is only a trainer. I mean, he tried I guess but I don't know...you're right about them getting more time and more spotlight/time on Superstars but like Gail said she felt like it didn't even matter because the people in the back weren't checking for them like that.
