Dave also mentioned that it's a shame they missed out on Ricochet, dude has a seven year contract with Lucha Underground
I understand that he's really over and they're pushing him, but Jesus...
...though I've heard that WWE took a pass on him, so get your money.
My problem with a guy like Ricochet and ACH is that I really want them to do well. I REALLY do because we need stars of color in the big leagues and these guys can fukking WORK. Ricochet's got a great look and he can put on a flippy-dippy clinic with Balor & Neville because he has before...but I heard him and Bourne go back and forth in EVOLVE for a promo and man....
...ACH is that dude. Seen him live, watched a few matches and kid's amazing, but all that goofy stuff (while cool because I loved DBZ and video games too) isn't going to fly if we're truly waiting for someone to hit the top in the 'E. I want them all to make it to the 'E and get paid. I'll never be mad at that and barely complain about the New Day or Truth because they're getting TV time with a chance to get paid well when they could be stuck in NXT or doing jobs on Superstars/Main Event.
I'm just longing for a cat to come to the 'E that could be the real deal. Jay Lethal's cool. I like his work, but when I'm thinking of someone that could move up and get the top belt, he's not the one.
Off the top of my head, the only guys that give me hope to be the first are Uhaa Nation and Cedric Alexander, but I have no idea what they're like the on the mic.
